Hi so I was sorting through pennies and I came across this penny. I was wondering if you guys can tell if it's a doubledie or Machine Doubling. If the picture us too bad then tell me and I'll try to get a better one. Also, any tips on how to get a good quality up close picture of a coin. Thanks.

With the device reduced in size, the "extra" area being flat shelf-like, that usually indicates MD.

MD ,Your photo's aren't that bad. You can do a lot with the Image Optimizer to enhance ,crop and rotate your images. Its nice if you post a photo of the whole coin both sides as well

I don't think it's MD. I think the 9 just took a massive hit. Either way, not a DDO
