Okay, so I finally bought a Booker T Washington half-dollar!
Can you guess the grade assigned by NGC for this commemorative coin?

MS-65, very nice toning. I have a NGC MS-64 and I would put this one higher than mine.

Thanks,

Jim

The only mark of any consequence I see is the bagmark on the cheek but it is thin and it has eye pleasing tone to boot.

I picked up one of these off my shop's bid board a few weeks ago. The obverse is toned a bit funky with spotty fingerprints but the reverse is if you like color. I believe that it was glued to cardboard or some type of display as there is a nice untoned area with some glue residue (kind of shaped like the Pennsylvania keystone symbol) but surrounding it is vibrant shades of greens and oranges Now if I can just get some decent pics of it after I get around to removing the glue...

Wow, beautiful coin Kathryn. I see this as a MS66 all day if it wasn't for the mark noted by Bio. Hmmmm, I'm still thinking it may have made it since the fields look stupendous. But, I will say MS65*.
