I started this Dansco a couple years. I am trying to complete it by purchasing coins that come into the local coin shop I work at. Friday some 2005, 2006 and 2007 coins came in. Very cool that I need all three of them. That puts me at 18 of 31 holes filled.

Quote:Also .. curious if the coins with gold maple leaf was from RCM or after market Gold-plated outside of the RCM. Many have been done at a private mint in Germany; there are likely other firms that have done it as well. The RCM has gold plated ML coins, but they were collector versions of the coins vs. general bullion releases (e.g., the MLs for the Vancouver Olympics in 2010). They were sold at much higher prices than their bullion value!

I used to collect them by date but I gave up on it. Maybe I should have stuck with it. Perhaps sometime I will. The coins from the mid 90's are tough.

It will be interesting to see your set crazyglue ... For me .. I find it cool to pick up so many different dates, from a small shop in Milton Florida. Once I get it complete it will be a nice to have with my U.S. Silver eagle sets. ------------ Thanks for the information commems. ... with these two being proof coins ... I was not sure what the RCM might do.

coin197, I almost was going to get a Superman maple leaf but I felt the premium was a bit much over spot.

90 minutes is not far ...
The family has two shops .. smaller shop in Milton and a bigger shop in Pensacola.
The Pensacola shop has a lot more inventory.
------------
Coin197 ... yes I do have a Superman 1oz. .. not where I put it. I am thinking it is in my silver treasure box.

I believe my pics will disappoint. I forgot that I have not figured out a display strategy for this set yet, so they are in some very unflattering saflips and plastic sheets.
