Design not bad for 2016 coin - it balanced. 2017 didn't introduce anything new. Look here: ebay ID = 192101818382Just for CAD 31 you can get kind of "authentic" and real stuff from Ukraine. While the RCM coin will look like parody.

Last year the Pysanka coin was celebrating 125 years of Ukrainian settlement in Canada. This year it celebrates 126 years?.......not a real landmark anniversary LOL.
I bought one last year and it was for my Ukrainian friend who in turn gave it to his 84 year old mother for her birthday. I wouldn't have bought it for myself but asked him when I received advance notice. This year I bought it for him again with his intention of giving it to his mom for her birthday again. If they discontinue the series, he's gonna have to get his own present next year.

I didn't jump on the band wagon last year, and won't again this year, but if I was interested, those hand-painted eggs look like a lot more talent required than one painted coin.

The price of the pysanka coin is collapsing. Not unexpected when there are now 62 ebay listings.

These in CAD....oh no
Too many sellers. And people not really in rush to buy initially overpriced coin, specially with premium on the secondary market. But, better to sell now - to reduce the asking price to go out without a loss, and simply to get rid off.
The 2016 will rise though - making it more special. If will be coin minted in 2018, people will tell : "dead series".

Break even point on Pysanka 2 is around CAD$140 ( issue price $115 x 7% tax + 12% ebay & Paypal fee ) As long as ebay sold prices were above CAD$140 + shipping. No one is losing money. There is no safe bet on flipping coins, Pysanka 2 might be the only Canadian coin, which is safer to flip in February without losing money. p.s. many flippers sold Pysanka 2 around CAD$180 then walked away.

p.s. many flippers sold Pysanka 2 around CAD$180 then walked away. all correct here. If someone had 20 (purchased for issue) and sold with even CAD 10 profit - in total will be CAD 200.... But this Pysanka coin, looks like everyone who could buy it - tried / trying to resell now.

I dont see the rush to sell these right away, I am hanging onto mine for a bit. Easter is a couple months away and I'm sure people will be looking for Easter themed gifts etc.

the only ones who are losing money are the ones trying to sell on auction..if you set it at buy it now and cover your fees, plus your profit.. you will not lose on this coin.. guaranteed.. there is a lot of coins listed, but if you are a good seller a buyer will come along , and you can make some money..don't be greedy..
