I dont see the rush to sell these right away, I am hanging onto mine for a bit.

Me too. Last year flippers/sellers sold off Pysanka 1 at around $200. Then the price shot up to $300 and $400. Not saying the same will happen with this one, of course, but I can't see anyone losing money.

When looking at sold prices keep in mind the added shipping fees. The one that sold for $142 had a $30 shipping fee = $172.00. The seller for "buy-it-now" of $151 plus $16 shipping = $167. Why such a low "buy-it-now" price? Check this buyer's feedback.

IMO it's best to let the newbie eBayers with low feedback sell off their coins...and Mario95... lol. Then maybe the price will stabilise at a higher price in the future. I could be wrong, but that's what I see with a popular coin like this.

I don't consider this a "collapsing" price.

I am curious: after 2016 Pysanka coin raised in value, would you like:
to sell it (in CAD 300 - 400 range) and by this to get the money, or
to keep as "coin that holds its value", and actually to have nothing of it (except "loss" of CAD 114.95)

2016 Pysanka coin is for keeping, regardless of price.

However, if it goes to $1,000 I will reconsider... lol

The trend for the coin is downward. While the word "collapsing" may be too harsh, the prices for the pysanka coin are definitely softening. Mario95 has adjusted his price down to $178 from $199.

Two more finished auctions today.

2017-Pysanka-Coin-Is-Released

If you look at the $170 coin, it has free shipping, so in reality the coin sold for around $155.

BTW, the number of listings has increased to 65. The first pysanka had nowhere this number of listings.

....and 6 new listings in parallel in Auction style by ebay member with '0' feedback and no other items for sell.

This is the overkill
I understand about 'get rid off', but seller should atleast sell one after another.

There have been a couple times where I sold a coin too quickly and it then doubles in price a few months later. For me it was the 2016 Northern Lights in the Moonlight and Queen's 90th Birthday coins, I sold them for peanuts compared to what they are selling for now. I am not saying that this Pysanka egg will double in price, but I believe it has very good potential for at least maintaining its value, with some appreciation on the side. Hence, I am holding onto mine while the flippers undercut each other.

CAD 142 + shipping
The latest sale....this is real undercut, although not seller's fault.
But rather selling for low, better to return it, using return policy.

Item ID = 132095865595

15 min till the end
Current bid: CAD 147

My opinion - it will cross CAD 150 , probably 154.

It's in our hands, to support the sale, by putting some bids.
Let's see, will the profit be equal to coffee in Starbucks or in the Tim Hortons?

Ended - CAD 157.50 - better than I thought

Is it "not bad for not hot coin" or "not good for coin projected to be hot"?

Confirmed from the other forum by people who surely understand market:
2017 Pysanka fair / reasonable price - CAD 150

as a "support" for this - Kijiji Toronto offers it for CAD 155.

and someone on other forum ready to buy the coins in the quantities (to send for grading, or Ukraine?) for CAD 150 and not dollar more.....

After all the eBay/PayPal fees, free shipping, etc. the current market value of the Pysanka coin is around $150. That's the amount you end up with when selling on ebay so why go through all that hassle when you can just get $150 by selling it locally.
