I just ran across this super extremely rare 1960 Jefferson nickel. Most nickels minted in that year were either made in Philadelphia or Denver and had the corresponding mint mark. The truly spectacular specimen had a Large "B" mint mark on the reverse over the dome of Monticello. Probably a throwback the War Nickels. I think this coin was mint in Bugtussle. However I could find no mint figures or even a mint location there. However I guess someone could of had some extra time and a punch and just whacked away at it. Still Lookin

B is for Bob's Mint, down in his basement. He also issues a lot of "error" coins with the help of his vise...

Possibly a Chinese counterfeit of the elusive 1960-B.
Only buy one of these if its slabbed.

Looks like it may be an RPM as well! Even more rare.

I checked both Wexler's and Coppercoins websites and could not find a listing for the RPM. That tells you how exceptionally rare this coin is.

All of these comments are very good points. Do you think $100,000 would be a good starting point on the bay? I would truly hate to undervalue such a numismatic masterpiece and rarity.

No 100,000 is way to low...send it off to get graded. I agree, definitely an RPM as well.

Politely suggest .... for the benefit of our newer members and in the spirit of the education mission of the CCF ... this thread is a spoof and no such coin exists as a collectible item.
The reverse 'B' is an added punch mark ... not to be mistaken indeed for something to search for as a newcomer to the hobby.
It's not 'super rare' ... simply a catchy title for the OP for a post mint addition .... and I hope no newer learning members are confused

I will send it to you if you want. I was going to just send it back to the bank. I have no interest in it. Of course this posting is a joke. Just spoofing some actual bay post. Just all in good fun. I actually have a counter punched nickel around here somewhere that I actually kind of like. I think it is a 1950 something nickel with a flag punched in over the dome on the reverse. I don't know if I should send it to Crazyb0. He may post it for sell. Still Lookin

Still lookin you can just keep lookin. I have in my collection the true rarest of the rare mint marks. The lying mainstream media has been putting out that 2017 is the first year ever for the P mint mark on a Lincoln Cent. Feast your eyes on the ACTUAL first-ever P on a Lincoln Cent. I plan on scrubbing it up real good before I get it slabbed so it looks better, but this is the current state:
