I dug up the attached coin in my garden and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it? I haven't had any luck on Google.

Yup, that's a button. The metal in the middle of the back is where the shank has broken off. Still a cool find of a nice button.

The crown is a German style. Maybe this will help you track it down.
