What is the approximate values of the four similar Peru coins? I believe they are Un Sol, 1/2 Sol, 1 Dinero, 1/2 Dinero. 1896, 1907. I did not get the dates on the Dinero and 1/2 Dinero. The Israel coin is unknown to me. The Dan Marino token is one ounce. And, the other coin is a 1780 Austria Maria Theresa Silver Thaler (probably around $20 value)

top row: older, silver Peruvian coins. I see what appears to be a Sol, a half Sol and 2 more pieces which look like decimals of a Sol, but I am not knowledgeable enough to say anything more than that.

far left, second row: a restrike on the 1780 Maria Theresa Austrian thaler..these are common and carry only the value of the silver.

middle, second row: some sort of commemorative medal/medallion of Dan Marina. it appears to say it is one troy ounce of silver..i have no idea of value bit if I gambled i'd bet on it only being the value of the silver it;s made of.

far right, second row: some kind of medallion, metal unknown..appears to be from Isreal in commemoration of Masada(read below description)

from Wikipedia:

"Masada is an ancient fortress in southern Israel's Judean Desert. It's on a massive plateau overlooking the Dead Sea. A cable car and a long, winding path climb up to the fortifications, built around 30 B.C. Among the ruins are King Herod's Palace, which sprawls over 3 rock terraces, and a Roman-style bathhouse with mosaic floors. The Masada Museum has archaeological exhibits and recreations of historical scenes."

I am always curious about coins that are unfamiliar to me. I agree that the "odd" coins are probably silver value. The four Peruvian coins peaked my interest and I think they have some collector value in higher grade. I researched the dates on the sol and half sol. I believe these are common dates. But, I did not see the dates on the two smaller coins. I turned these coins down since I was completely unfamiliar with them. It looks like the total melt value (according to the NGC web site) is a little over $22 for the four Peruvian coins. I was offered all seven coins for $45. Which probably isn't a bad price since the Marino coin at $18 + $22 = $40. The other two probably have a melt value of around $12-$14 each. But, I'm sure they would be difficult to sell if I ever got tired of them.
