Ha, hsn reduced the price of the 2015 P fake thing from $4599 to $2999 to sell them out before hsn buyers find out the news. I don't know why they don't know the usmint statement by now, or they do but don't care and want the label anyways for some odd reason. I wonder what's gonna happened when they find out the label is void and no longer valid, that they just bought a $20 coin for thousands. That will be funny to see. To me it's a $20 coin even if the label was correct and minted at Philadelphia mint. Who cares, is still just another bullion coin of 40 million plus minted in 2015.

The TPG's only guarantee is that the coin is authentic and was given an appropriate grade. Anything else added to the label is not guaranteed...

Interesting note on the PCGS guarantee. Kinda ends the story:
Quote:
Changes in a coin's numismatic status. The PCGS guarantee does not cover changes in a coin's status in the numismatic community. For example, in the 1980's, there was a variety of the 1942 Denver Walking Liberty half dollar that was considered an over-mint mark. This coin was known as a 1942-D/S. Subsequent research has revealed that the coin is actually a re-punched mint mark and it is now referred to as a 1942-D/D. The PCGS guarantee does not cover any change in value due to a change in a coin's status.
So who is gonna pay the price when it becomes official that the P minted coins can't be verify and the label is void. Won't be surprise if the news Makes it to tv like the Obama colorized quarters that had stickers on them. It was on the news, collectors complaint. A bunch of angry people will want to make this known all over the news, that they got scam into buying a $20 coin for thousands. It could be the news that kills the hobby. If people complaints for Obama sticker coins got on the news back then, just imagine what will collectors do this time. It will get interesting at the end of the month when the mint explains in more detail what they have said already. The tracking was for quality control not mintage site. Some collectors are still hoping the mint says something different, not happening, they say they will just explain what they said already in more detail. Probably with photos, documentation of how the quality control process works etc. The mint isn't gonna say, oh we made a mistake again, forget what we said about the previous statement lol.
It was from hsn I believe foxwoods. They advertise them as Obama coins when he was elected president. When buyers got them, they were regular quarters and Kennedy half dollars with Obama face stickers on them, people though it was colorized coins, Some even though they were Obama minted coins, not knowing that's not possible he will have to be dead.
