Quote:Quote: They were waiting to schedule the next run until after they saw how quickly the first run sold to help determine what that run size should be. but: Quote: Currently Unavailable: Currently Unavailable products have no remaining inventory in our warehouse and no additional production is scheduled. It should have gone to "backorder status" instead I do not think I explained it well. You have to read "no additional production is scheduled" literally. Those who assemble the sets had nothing on their calendar. The people running the website see nothing on that calendar. Even though at some point there may be more, they were not allowed to back-order something when they have no idea what the ETA is. Again, just speculation on my part. I could be wrong. It also could have been human error. Or possibly something wrong with their back-order system. Regardless, I think my speculation is moot since it appears now that the large cancellations are the reason. There truly was no additional production scheduled and there never was going to be.

Quote: Then someone might find the first ever impaired enhanced uncirculated in circulation. Interesting thought. I think a 2014-S EU Kennedy half dollar is a long shot, but I wonder if any of the EU Native American dollar coins have ever made it into the wild.

20,000 sets is crazy, they deserve the cancelation... they were going to let one dealer buy out almost 10% of total and we were complaining no HH limit of 5 was set. I thought the mint didn't care about secondary market.. letting someone control it tells me differently..
although, selling 205k in only 3-4 days post release is pretty good

**** 205k if those 20,000 cancellation was only ones remaining... probably a bit more would be my guess

Quote: If the ones I receive look just as nice, I'll be very pleased. They look really good in those images, especially the ATB Quarters, NA dollar, and JFK half.

It's often difficult to tell the difference between the various finishes. These look burnished to me.

The words 'ONE CENT' on the back of the penny seems to be black. Has to be the glare right?

I would think so, yes. I like how you said "cent" and "penny" in the same sentence without it being an argument of which term is proper.

Quote: It's often difficult to tell the difference between the various finishes... I found that in the 2014 Kennedy set, the 2014-S EU can look proof when compared to the 2014-D Uncirculated and uncirculated when compared to the 2014-P Proof. The 2014-S EU on its own, when tilting it back and forth, can look cameo at one angle and burnished at another. Looking at those photos, it appears this set went with a different approach. I will find out soon enough.
