What would cause these to go up in the future, is if they get included in a popular album. When there is a need to fill empty holes, the price will go up.
It might take a new manufacture ...like CAPS albums to make this happen.
their ASE album includes special release coins. I hope in the future they will do the same for other series.

I agree. Remove that 1922 "plain" hole from the Lincoln albums and its value would drop a lot.
I bought 5 sets. I think they look nice. Didn't see any flaws in my sets with the exception of that 1 of the 5 sets had the plastic case cracked, but it doesn't bother me, as that set will be the one I add to an album some day and I'll pull it out of the plastic anyway. Be interesting in the end to see how many returned sets get destroyed by the mint.
You guys should start a Facebook page so we have a face with the names on here!!I That way we could see pictures of our coin sets and get to know each other better.Sorry ahead of time if not the forum for this comment!!
Be careful Foxwoods. Sounds like you are speculating on the value of these graded sets. If you are looking for investment opportunities, the stock market historically is the highest yielding asset in the long run. Seems risky to be buyyall these sets when the couns could turn in their holder, and when most of the coins made would probably grafe 69-70. The 70s aren't rare--they just mean someone paid to have them graded. To each his own though...
EVERY coin I buy is a speculation on its future value. I look at these not as an "investment"s but as that speculation.
I believe that this $17-18 per SP70 graded coin purchase has little inherent downside risk..disregarding the upside potential....even with that risk it would not be the end of the world if they went to zero...but I am betting that the sets (SP70) will be in the $225-275 range in two years (assuming that the Mint sells out by then )
Now if my mutual fund portfolio went to zero that would not be a nice thing

Though I don't generally buy coins because I'm speculating on their future value, the truth is that I wouldn't buy one that I thought was going to go down. I do like buying coins and guns because I can enjoy them while I have them. Like most assets, their values generally don't outperform the stock market. However, I'm not losing money by having them.
