mycrookedd Valued Member United States 59 Posts	Posted 08/09/2017 8:20 pm I am late to collecting coins. My biggest fear is the country will stop minting coins or even paper dollars. Then start giving us credits. I mean we got to face it someday or somehow. Some evil person is going to say look how much it cost us to produce this coin. They did it with Gold, Silver and Copper. Eventually and I hate it but feel they will do away with all physical currency. what I would call primitive currency. Mind you this to me is like the NRA clinging to there guns. Credits can be lost but real currency can be placed in a vault. Sort of like the gold standard. Yes that is my biggest fear as a newbie and it would make coin collecting almost worthless. chime in I would like to hear others opinions on this? Report this Post to the Staff
