.....I have many. At the moment, (actually, it's been on-going from day one...many years ago) my fear is I may have something in my collection that's rare or significant and don't know it.

Keep in mind, I'm not a dealer, trader, investor or grader. I'm just a hobbyist. It makes it more interesting this way, don't you thing?

My biggest fear is someday running out of funds to buy more coins for my collection . This is just one of many fears that I have .
Another one is semi distant relatives possibly with sticky fingers into my life long collection .

My biggest fear is a fire in the house... all that plastic melting around the coins and the banknotes up in smoke...man I would be mad.

Hope you're not living in one of those clad combustible/material buildings over there!

Not having the funds when a true rarity pops up that I've had on my want list for decades. All because I bought nice coins that I could have bought later.

We survived a whole house fire about 2-1/2 years ago. It's one of the reasons I was off the forum for awhile and am now posting again. I was so fortunate that I was in the middle of moving my collection and stored everything offsite at the bank. I was not so fortunate for the rest of our stuff. It is a surreal moment when it happens to you.

You guys have such simple, garden-variety fears. Mine is that I am forced to flee my city due to radioactive contamination (like Chernobyl) and everything must be left behind, and I can't go back even though all the stuff is there. So near yet so far!

I agree with that!

I'm also worried about the British Royal Mint becoming like the RCM and Perth Mint and going completely over the top with NCLT issues - I don't know where I would draw the line and stop collecting!
