theFlask New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 09/17/2017 03:26 am Hello everyone, I was at a coin show today and bought a couple 1921 Morgans. I brought it home and noticed a large die crack and found it on VAMWorld as VAM-1U. I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction I finding the value of this coin. Don't get too excited when you see outrageous asking prices - Look at eBays sold pages or auction house sold results to find a ballpark on value. when dealing with 1921's don't expect much as there are so many of them out there. I was out last night when I answered this question at another forum, and couldn't look up population data at the SSDC Registry. This one has known examples at MS65, so I wouldn't expect anything beside a minor premium at 63 or below, and probably none at all in circulated grade. It's a function of demand and not rarity; there simply aren't enough people collecting these by variety to form any real "market." And they're likely going to be looking to purchase the coin in a slab, which is probably not warranted for this coin. Report this Post to the Staff
