coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/21/2017 1:37 pm Looks like something protected the original finish in certain areas and later peeled/wore of the coin. It could have been something like a sticker that was left on for years and some areas were not protected and were affected through the time it was covered. A lamination tends to be in straight lines. I would like to see a close up of the tops of the wheat lines areas where the color changes. If the metal is missing and shows a step, then it would not be a color change issue. But it is a lamination and the metal is missing, then the weight should be off. Something else to consider? Report this Post to the Staff

Giwalsh Valued Member United States 254 Posts	Posted 09/21/2017 6:42 pm Weight is 3.0 grams and edges next to ears are a edge that a toothpick catches.this is a hard one to photograph but I believe it is a lamination error and some of the metal fell off already.can you see how the plating goes under the "OF",it's not on top.thanks for looking Report this Post to the Staff
