Santa arrived at my place over the weekend and must have been keeping tabs on some things that I have thought about, but not pulled the trigger on; I been thinking about getting me a new "pillow", and I should have been a little more specific. Santa brought me a "pillow of money". I have been looking at these for a spell...and now I don't have to anymore. I have seen a couple threads about Chocolate Coins and now I have my own. 1967 Kennedy half dollar...great year! War Nickels are always great to have around. A gold plated Kennedy half has been claimed by one of my nephews already. A couple of DDR Mt Rushmore Quarters to add to my variety agglomeration. Thanks Santa!

Some fat, hairy dude in red underwear held me up at antler-point and took my offering this weekend. I could smell peppermint on his breath but he claimed to be on a coin-mission, so, I'm hoping the package will be there early this week.

@ mcshilling, Quote: Went to the US this morning and just got back, all Christmas cards and Santa stuff mailed off. Is it very common for Canadians to use US Postal Service now? Is it due to the high postage in Canada? I am curious as to how Canadians think of getting cards with American stamps on them especially when the sender is based in Canada?

If I have cards, letters or packages that have to go to a US address I will do it in the US cheaper plus we get grocery's and gas oh and beer/liquor. I'm 15 minutes away.

Thanks, mcshilling, for answering my enquiry!! That is cool that you could hop over the border to do some shopping cos it is cheaper. No wonder it is easy for you to post in the US. :)
