I appreciate the opinion of members The secondary smaller d has a actual copper loop ir strand the shape of a d . Pictures dont always tell the story As always opinions are always welcome thats why its a forum sincerly member

It is the production a split plating. The SE area on mint marks suffer from this. The direction of die wear is towards the rim, so if the plating splits on the obverse, then it usually there. Happened a lot on the Denver 80's Zincolns. Just a normal die created this. If is not an extra mint mark. Just a split on that area. Spendable.

They split plating eventually breaks down the coins:  Zinc doesn't like the oxygen in the air.
