My best find is probably my 1964 D RPM-001 half dollar, got that the first time I roll hunted half dollars.

Quote: Found this in a roll of quarters--early 2015 That is an awesome find !!! I have found a couple of really nice 1970's quarters in rolls recently . My top score recently was a 1945 S War Nickel ( AU - BU ) and a 1963 Washington quarter ( AU - BU ) in the same week ( I've posted pics in the roll hunting threads ). My biggest score ( almost ) was when I was a teenager working at a convenience store in the mid - 1980's. A little kid came in a bought a bunch of junk food and soda and paid with Seated Liberty halves and quarters ( that looked new ). I stashed them in the register and started thinking about all of the cool stuff I could get when I sold them , lol. The kids dad came in a couple of hours later he looked " ill " . He asked me if I had seen any odd coinage and I honestly felt bad for the guy and gave him everything back. He gave me 10 bucks as a reward ( I appreciated that ) , but man I always think that I should have kept 1 of those back , lol.

I only hunt rolls sporadically and go long stretches where I don't hunt at all. Still in the 20+ years I've been searching I've found many nice examples of Lincoln Cent errors and varieties. I guess my best would have to be my beautiful 99 WAM that I sold raw but I'm sure was an ms coin. My most random find was a 3 cent nickel in a cw dime roll. In all these years I've never pulled a key date or a major variety.

I've made a new friend at work and she's pretty fascinated by my coin finds - she said she had never seen one of them before when I showed her mine yesterday.

My best single find I would have to say is a 1992 Close AM Lincoln Memorial in beautiful condition. My best haul in silver was about a month ago. I watch this guy on YouTube called Tampa Coin Guy, when he starts pulling good numbers is when I start mass ordering halves. He was on a nice 2 week heater and I ordered 10 boxes from 5 different banks. Found a few 40s and some 90s the first week. The following week I could only get 4 boxes because 3 of the branches forgot to put in the order on Monday which I was a bit frustrated about. The 3rd and 4th boxes were the kind I always fantasized about when I first started roll hunting. They were loaded with walkers, benjis, 64s and 40 percenters. I mean LOADED! The oddest part of the whole thing..... there was not 1 single ender at all. But when I opened the first roll there were 4 with 2 next to each other. 2nd roll had 1 and the 3rd had 5. I got spoiled by the end of those 2 boxes. The next week all 10 boxes, I only got 1 40 percenter and a 1974 S clad proof.

My best find CRH was a 2009 D District of Columbia DDR Quarter (FS-801). One coin that has alluded me is the speared eagle Sac. Dollar even after over a hundred boxes searched.
