CollegeBarbers Pillar of the Community United States 2627 Posts	Posted 02/01/2018 5:03 pm When going through my inventory, I noticed that I purchased a 2010 Proof Set from the Philadelphia Mint gift shop. I completely forgot about my visit there to tour the facility in my early days of collecting. It was hard to see much from the viewing hallway, but I walked away impressed by the production scale. Yet it was the gift shop full of coins and other Mint products that really caught my eye, for I had yet to visit a real coin shop. I happily bought this proof set and used the quarter dispenser to exchange my pocket change for some brand new Mount Hood ATB's. With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to see what other CCF members purchased from the Mint gift shops over the years and hear stories about your visits.
