I'm getting a little irritated by many of my ICCS holders, specially those older ones with lots of scratches and sticker residues on them. I am planning to move many of my cheaper coins to Quadrum squares and expensive ones to CCCS/PCGS slabs. So I was wondering, is there any generic guidelines that you can suggest for fitting coins with fractional diameters to these squares? E.g., will a coin that has a diameter of 23.19mm (Newfie 20c piece) fit well in a Quadrum with a 23mm pocket, or should I go with a 24mm one? Please make the answer generic by suggesting how to round it off. This way the thread will be more useful to other. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

1960NYGiants Pillar of the Community United States 669 Posts	Posted 02/14/2018 10:58 pm I haven't tried the Quadrum holders. Lighthouse website claims the black insert is inert foam. This should be pliable enough such that rounding down would make the best tight fit. Rounding up could lead to the coin "rattling" in the holder. My opinion. purelywasted Pillar of the Community Canada 1505 Posts	Posted 02/15/2018 12:49 am I always round down unless it is within .2 mm. For example 25 cent pieces are rounded to 24mm. A tighter fit is better imho. With some very worn quarters I use a 23mm. Report this Post to the Staff
