I'm not sure if you have a target list for coins you try to find for your collections but if you did what would be on that list?
I'll start off with my list 5 coins 1) Large cent 1858 coinage 2) large cent 1858 full vein 3) large cent 1859 Brass 4) 5 cent 1951 High relief 5) 1871 PEI Medal
What's your list

For my Canadian desires:
Cents>..2008 proof & 2012 proof Nickels>..1875H small date & 1965 large beads Dimes>..1913 broad leaves Quarters>..1947 dot & 2006 4-pink-ribbon Dollar>..1974 double-yoke
I definitely need more than these, but the ones I listed are either just hard to find or I can't find one at a reasonable price.

1850 Dragon Slayers, both Half Penny and One Penny, in MS 60 or above.
Those 2 would complete my set of 8 mint state Slayer issues.

I've pretty well lost that "hunting fever", so I really don't have a target list anymore. I just try to help others. I WOULD like to find a couple more '81 SSN's to help some friends out and maybe a 15-stem '58.

Quote: 1906 25C small crown @4mile123: I think you're confused with the difference between a "TARGET" list and a "DREAM" list. I too have that hole in by quarter set (along with the 1921 nickel) but I always just try to ignore it. Maybe when it's the l-a-s-t coin needed I might start thinking about it. :)

Any 1859 Haxby die pair I don't have, and the 1881 SSN (almost everyone wants this one).

I am down to 88 missing for a Canadian circulation coin set. Not counting most varieties (not overly interested), but that has changed a bit as I pick them up at reasonable prices.
- 1909/1910 gold sovereign or $10 good - 1947 silver dollar in MS, blunt or pointed - 1917 dime - 1915 5 cent - 1954 50 cent ms63 or higher at reasonable price - 1907 large cents (both) at reasonable prices in MS
A few other upgrades or missing holes as I find them, but these are what I am most interested in filling. The hardest part is how expensive these things get as you get closer to finishing a set (assuming a certain grade)
