Interesting move by the US Mint to use a different design for the Gold Eagle Proof Set this year (https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...t-schedule):

New-Design-For-American-Eagle-2018-Gold-Proof-Four-Coin-Set

Product limit of 18k (Feb18 sales figure of the 2017 set is 9,812).
HH limit of 1.

Interesting. Wonder why they changed it? For what it's worth, I like the old design better.

The older style packaging looks bulky whereas this newer version appears slimmer.

I've never seen or handled one of the sets in person but storage wise the second one makes more sense.
