Appears to be Mini Cuds on the Rim located near Date on the Obverse? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Those are called Rim Cuds. My second thought is it could be a Folded Rim Fin.

I think it is a folded-over Rim Fin.

Folded Rim Fin, note the over pressure strike, depth of details and rim.

Partially correct. A fin created by a tilted die when the the coin was struck. The space between the tilted die and the collar allows metal to make this fin.

The fin get flattened and leaves the rim looking like your coin. If your coin had the fin, then it would be a collectable. Probably 99% of the fin get flatten in rolling or circulation removing a premium for them.
