Quote: One is Gold Seal Milk lucky penny which appears to have a plated circulated 1946 cent which has lost a lot of the plating. The other is from Curry's Furniture in Bell, California with a 1948 cent. Nice pair!

This treasure arrived in a lot of tokens I purchased for the Dan Carr 2008 20 Ameros included. Many other treasures in there also, such as a Pan-Pac Exposition Souvenir Penny, an encased Mercury dime (recent), and several silver rounds. I did quite well on that one! Pabst Blue Ribbon encased 1953-D Franklin half dollar.

Not encased, but definitely a "Lucky Penny"! 1925 Lucky Penny Souvenir - New Orleans. I've seen many versions of this, with various dates in the 1920s from a variety of cities. At 73 mm and 107 g, they are often described as paperweights. Note the swastikas in Liberty's headband.

Purchased this on ebay almost by accident. I was the only person who bid probably because it was listed in the wrong category.

Picked up this one off ebay a while back and had forgotten about it. The Women's Lifestyle Show is held (or was) in Peoria, IL, with the first one sometime in the 1980s. Encased 1937 Buffalo nickel - Womens Lifestyle Show (Peoria, IL)
