Hello! New to the site hoping to gain some knowledge and identify potential errors as I've recently become interested in collecting coins( errors specifically) anywho.. here's some pictures of an oddly shaped dent in a 1983 dime I found recently might be post mint damage but I'd like to hear some opinions, thanks!

Can we see the other side of the coin? that would help give clues if it was debris on the die or hit after it left the mint, PMD. And here is the CCF Free Image Optimizer to help crop your images. Please preview your post/pictures to be sure they are rotated correctly.

to CCF! A pic of the obverse would help, as Fuzzy mentioned.

You could crop the image to just show the coin, but those last two images are very clear.

Looks like either a strike-through or a planchet flaw

, I am leaning to this one being struck on a flawed planchet... to CCF
