As Bill said, these appear to be radial flow lines, a manifestation of Die Deterioration.
Error coin writer and researcher.

Yup, just die flow lines.

Difference by appearance is that die flow lines run toward the outside edge of the design. Trails always run in one single direction.

Chuck is right, this is an old die and the lines are caused by Die Deterioration.

While most trail dies have lines in just one direction, there are a few that have reciprocal lines (lines in the opposite direction). The cause is more than probably the die returning to the original position after its initial movement. This is another aspect that sets it apart from a doubled die, this dual movement. This is not a very well known fact, with only a very few aware of this dual movement, however, you all now know of its existence.

hers a dual directional trail that BJ attributed for me. Its now listed as 2007P-1DER-003T
