Not expert, but it is normal that all 1988 cents are Wide AM. You should look for 1998,1999 and 2000

This is the normal reverse for 1988.

That is a normal 1988 on an 88 you are looking at the FG letters to find the FG from 1989

Yes, it is a WA. Normal for this year.
Starting 1993 and up design changes and were Close AM.If you find any WA on 1993 and after they would be collectible. Good luck.

Wide AM's are only collectable for 1998, 1999, and 2000, do to using the wrong reverse. You must mean RDV-006 then. Your coin is not RDV-006 unfortunately. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...988RDV6.html
