https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...in-18EK.html Mintage Limit: 15,000 Product Limit: 15,000 Household Order Limit: 1 Same mintage as last year's (BU not proof though in 2017) which is now selling at a steep premium. If Palladium stays in the current price bracket ($950-$999.99), this coin will cost $1,387.50. Any takers?

Out of my range. Something about her face/profile I don't like. Very cool looking eagle on the rev. though!

I like the design, but at almost 40% above melt value I think I will pass. I already have the 100th Anniversary Gold version.

I managed to get one early last year. I'm a little surprised at the going prices on ebay, I got a good price (not by a huge savings overall, but still a bit less). I love this piece. I really want to see what the actual proof edition looks like but I'm not sure I can afford another one.

I like and I would love to add it to the collection, but like many others here, it's not in the budget this year.

My guess .... Isn't Palladium one of the rare metals used in making catalytic converters?
That's the closest thing I can come up with to a "muffler coin"! Lol.

I think western is right that it was an attempt at some sort of joke.

Glad I wasn't the only one. I would have been upset if "muffler coin" was a new numismatic term and I didn't know it!
