Well it really can't be north of 100k since the limit IS 100k and the October thing has put the kabash on any orders....why would you order in Feb?March when you won't get delivery until October/November? Mint kinda messed this one up...

Quote: Well it really can't be north of 100k since the limit IS 100k That's right. Don't know why I was thinking it was 150k . Even with the backorder issue, I figured sales would have been 3/4 of the way to the limit.

Quote: Told You would have it in October, and Your going to receive it any day, Priceless, Congrats... Enjoy! When did You order the Big Boy ? I ordered on the first day of availability, probably 7-8 min into sales. Had some site performance issues and was trying to add a bunch of Apollo items to the cart. I *think* the backorder quote was April-ish when I first ordered but shortly after it went to Oct for others so I was expecting the worst.

Has anyone else received one of the Apollo Rocketship sets? I ordered one and it arrived yesterday. I was shocked at how nice the 2019-D Kennedy half dollar is. It is shinier than the proof dollar. I tried to take a couple pictures, but failed at capturing the proof-like surfaces of the half (plus I didn't want to remove the set from the sealed plastic sleeve). Certainly the Mint's half dollar rolls won't contain coins like this, but perhaps the upcoming uncirculated mint sets will. But just in case the mint sets don't have a half dollar like this one, I decided to order two more Rocketship sets.

HEY! Is that girl with the pig tails on the package a Mighty Minter?!
Looks good, captainrich. Going to order one or two here in the next couple of days.
OH and my saucers arrived today. Good lord that is a heavy box. The packaging must be substantial. Looking forward to examining them!

Ok, the saucers are pretty cool. For the price I wish they'd have come in a wooden case, but that's just a minor gripe. Good stuff. My paltry photos of the coin: The obverse is HIGHLY reflective; mirror-like as one might expect for a proof coin. Yes, in the reflections you can see some blue and white from my computer monitor and what appears to be some of my t-shirt and arm. Good thing I didn't leave my tax documents laying about. Those of you still waiting - you'll be plenty happy when you get them.

PCGS has about 84.5% as PR70 for the saucers: 69=366, 70=2,002

Quote: PCGS has about 84.5% as PR70 for the saucers: 69=366, 70=2,002 Don't read to much into that. A lot of people will only want them holdered if they're a 70 and it is especially true for the ash treys because there's an added oversized holder fee to slab them

Yup, grade percentage pops are meaningless nowadays because of the ability to eliminate all non-70's
