Hello to all. You were all very helpful the last time I was seeking info so I'm back . I have this penny and it looks incomplete (for lack of better verbiage). It is not damaged, it isn't scratched up or knicked, and it has a beautiful color and luster. I've attached several pics to help you all out, if you would kindly give your opinions. It weighs 2.46gms if that helps

That is very unusual, I hope some of the real experts will explain it. Maybe there are more like it.

You have severe Die Deterioration going on your coin. The obverse die was very worn down from striking so many planchets. Your example looks a lot like mine. Maybe it was from the same die pair? http://goccf.com/t/322204&whichpage=2#2746987
