That's a 1953 NSF Small Date
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Looks like a regular strike coin..the 53 NSF halves come with beautiful PL like strikes but no PLs were struck..only specimens and business strikes.

I believe there are Large Date PL coins

According to the Charlton Catalogue, there were PL finishes
issued in all three varieties, the first year they are recognised.
