I can't believe it. I really can't I knew there would have to be one out there, but I didn't think I would find it.

I just went to the bank to buy some half dollar rolls to see if I get something good out of it. Well guess what? In a $10 roll this is what I found:

1964- 3
1966- 1
1967- 6
1968- 3
1969- 5

Thats 3 silvers and 15 clad! What an awesome day! Ok, maybe it's not a jackpot (compared to all silver) but it's pretty darn lucky!

I once went to a very small bank and got a roll of 9 90% and 6 40% so I know how you feel. Congrats!

That is a Jackpot. I went into the bank for a roll and they had nothing, no rolls, no halfs at all.

I went to a bank last Saturday and got a full roll of 90%'s and 4 full rolls of 40%'s. Needless to say, I was excited!

my credit union has them periodically. I have yet to ask them to contact me any time they get any in, but I think I will be doing it soon. Now that's a nice find Chris. Perhaps in the future I will get a 90% roll!

A little off topic but has anyone ever had a lot of luck with the federal rolls?

........That IS a jackpot my friend !...

nod2003.......honestly.....that's all I search now is Fed. boxes. And I used to find at least one 90% in $500.00 worth and several 40%, but it then evolved to NONE in a whole box. Then I found NONE in $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 worth, as well as NONE in about the same dollars worth of bank and customer wrapped rolls........
SO, I'm ON A BREAK !!

Just to clarify for others, the 15 clad coins he listed are the 40% silver clad.

That is a good haul for $10!

I am curious, what dates were the two Cu-Ni clad coins in that roll?

Hmmmm....

18 of 20 coins with at least SOME silver in them.

Todays buy at the shop would give you $36 for that roll.

JACKPOT!! .... and CONGRATS!
