I stopped by my bank again and after asking if they had any half dollar rolls (which they had none) the teller did say she had $4.50 worth in her little coin separator thing at her desk. I said "sure, I'll take them" although they were loose. Well, guess what I got? 1964- 1 1967- 4 1968- 2 and a couple non-silver Kennedys I really like this bank! Mike Report this Post to the Staff
925dealer Valued Member United States 258 Posts	Posted 11/29/2009 10:24 pm Keep in mind that silver is not the only "gold" you can find in these rolls. Since half dollars don't circulate much you can get a lot of bu coins valued at 1 to 3 dollars each if you cherry pick the very best. Don't just turn back in all the coins that are not silver without building a few half dollar sets of Kennedy's. I am here to tell you Kennedy half dollars are popular with some folks. Guess I'll have to wait until my box comes in. 2000 halves only silver a 1944. But when I get a new box it still makes me feel like a kid, all hopeful and excited. Its fun though.
