I received my order confirmation email and the mint site says status is "shipped", but I haven't received my "shipped" email yet. I assume that will come tomorrow.

If this only goes to 60-ish% or even 80%, we're talking the 3rd lowest mintage of the ASE series.

Do you think the Tuesday sales figures will do a lot to either open or choke the market, if temporarily?

If this set is still for sale om Tuesday when the official figures come out, canceled orders are going to start happening especially on the back-ordered sets.

Just got notice that my Canadian Pride coins shipped today. It would be nice if both the US Mint order and the Canadian order were scheduled to arrive on the same day, since I need to sign for both packages. Now I'm excited!

In my experience with smartpost, the package coming from our neighbor up north will arrive first.

I believe the Mints policy is up to 72 hours for processing. Probably doesn't include 4th of July either. I too received the confirmation email rather quickly but yet to receive the shipping one.

The backorder issue is a bit surprising. I figured all sets would have been ready to go. Just a matter of getting them packaged. Maybe they're short-handed at the fulfillment center.

The backorder is either production or packaging, you can get extra shipping help very easy plus they really just don't have that many orders to completely overwhelm a shipping center for a month

Whew! Finally received confirmation that my 5 sets were shipped today! I guess with 40,000 or more orders last Wed. they couldn't handle the volume. It will be interesting to see Tuesday sales figures for this set. I expect it to be sold out before then, maybe even today. But who knows...

Hoping this "back order" thing on the website that's there now is just because they are approacing the limit and dont' want to confirm it will ship or won't until they are there.
Also could be they anticipated slower sales and would have time to complete all the 100,000 sets and just don't have that many ready to ship.

If for some reason they increase the total mintage, they can just have my set back if I ever get it. LOL!

I've got my usual processing status, and confirmation email, but no shipping yet. I will be ticked if I sit with the back orders considering my order was placed in the first minute of it going on sale.

knowing their track history with my orders this year, I will sit on processing until it's delivered to my porch, then it will give me tracking and show delivered.

Yeah, Big-Kingdon, we'll wait and see. I don't think the Mint will make more sets if they've promised 100,000 for the U.S. market. If ever found out, it would destroy their business immediately.

I'm thinking of submitting my sets to the NGS or PCGS, seems like graded coins are the hottest items on the market, for now and for the future.

Just want to make sure you didn't miss a 0. This is 3,000 and not 30,000, correct?

Foxwoods Man - thanks for the update, but how did you find out only 3,000 sets remained?

I "chatted" with a Mint associate from their site, and he said no info on sales were available until Tues. at 5 pm.

I think he has a friend who is a bulk dealer who can put a larger number in the order and it will let them know if they have less available.
