This quarter has a bubble on both sides. On the face of coin the bubble protrudes from George's temple and on the back it comes out of the eagles lower belly in center if coin. They are offset from each side

@lgoad5, first welcome to CCF. Second, we often attribute these bubbles to heating of the coin, such as with a torch. In any case, this coin didn't leave the mint with those bubbled areas.

Looks like it was in a house fire. Because of the different metals, the bubble occurred because of the stretch was different. (It would be like washing your new suit in a washer at home and drying it in the dryer. Because of the different fabrics, the suit stretching/shrinking it does look the way it did before, because it is ruined because of incorectly cleaning methods
