EgCollector, Dansco Supreme Albums would be my choice, may pay a little more, but very nice albums. Regarding your collecting and purchasing, you may want to put a post up in this forum under want to buy. I am sure there are plenty of CCF members willing to ship to Egypt. I know I have plenty Lincoln Cents (1909-2008), Jefferson nickels (1938-2008), and Roosevelt dimes (1946-2008) that I would be willing to sell you at a fair price and closest to exact shipping as possible without any fees like ebay. Good Luck in whatever you choose.

Amr, I'd suggest the Jefferson nickels, as the key dates won't be anywhere near as expensive as the Lincolns, and there are plenty of guys here to help you collect them. Personally, I use the Gardmaster albums, but mostly because they make good Canadian albums, and this way they all of mine match. Dansco's are probably the most popular album for US coin, though, but I personally don't like their design as much.

OK, based upon what you all have recommended I think I will start to collect; Lincoln Memorial 1959-present Jefferson nickels 1938-present and Dansco album for their storage. I think that should keep me busy for a looong time. Thank you all for your help

Any of the moderns (other than lincolns) would be pretty easy to acomplish, but what I would suggest it to start working on a 20th century type set and from that figure out what you like and which you'd like to spend more time with.
 ......kinda agree with that statement.

Egcollector have you thought about collecting the new Presidential dollars? It would be much easier & cheaper than the Lincolns & Jefferson's. Would keep up with your modern US coin collection. Seeking: Trying to help Rainman

There is nothing to be sorry about, we all have a life Pardon my ignorance, but I searched my Krause and I didnt Find any 3CN. There are only one cent, 5 cent, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Half Dollars and Dollars

I have tried to collect Presidential dollars and I couldnt complete except the 2007 P and D only. The other thing is that most of the members arent much interested in collecting them and that this series didnt gain the collectors interest as I was told by a US member.

I'm not familiar with the Krause reference you're using, but Three Cent coins were minted from 1851-1889. Silver Three Cent coins (3CS) were minted from 1851-1873 (but really only collectible up to 1862 due to the extreme rarities of the later issues) and Three Cent Nickels (3CN) were minted from 1865-1889. There are several years in there that are difficult to near impossible to find, but regardless, Eaglefoot is right, it's a great series to collect even if ultimately you have a couple holes that will remain open. I'm guessing that your Krause reference only refers to the most popular or recent coin series. This only goes further to prove the point that 3CN are not very popular with newer coin collectors and as such are also less expensive to collect based on their mintages and surviving numbers.

The president dollars just started in 2007. They will run thru 2016. The P and D mints are all that are in circulation. I wouldn't say it is challenging but it will take patience. You just have to wait for each one to be issued.
