Glad to see that I was correct with the 50 pence common market. However I do not have opportuniy to place pictures. Sorry about that. Never the less, nice game this is!

But sure, I can give you a question without pics.

In between 498 AD the Byzantine emperor Anastasius introduced a revolutionary change in the monetary system. It was not as practical in every day circulation, so emperor Justinian II decided in 538-539 that bronze coins should have a different angle in recognition to the ruler. However, the revolutionary change that Anastasius made, was continued at gold coinage deep into the seventh century.

Yep, picture that without pics!

Who can explain what the revolutionary change of Anastasius was, which is apart from the introduction of M, K or I values....

Sorry Valutarick, you missed your turn as you were gone from the forum for ages so we had to continue the game without you.

In addition, if you read the rules on page 1, the game is limited to coins since 1800 AD.

By all means have a crack at this one, but if you win be prepared to put up a new coin to be guessed within a day or so.

How come you can't put up pictures?

OK, here is the next coin on behalf of jedichef who emailed it to me.

I was actually wondering if the picture would be distracting enough, but I see I made a good choice

A very good choice. Who cares what the coin is? Maybe we should have a name that girl competition instead?

Only kidding!
