How have you all obtained such great coins? Do you usually purchase/trade for them, already cleaned? Have any of you found these coins among "uncleaned" coins?

Nuggethill, you have a splendid collection with lots of variety. I look forward to more posts and maybe some even better photos!

Gawd0wns, I purchased all my ancients (all 4 of them!) from Classical Numismatics Group (CNG). Unfortunately they seem to have raised their list prices dramatically over the last couple years and I haven't seen anything there lately that I was willing to pay for. I have window-shopped at dealer Tom Cederlind's table at the big Long Beach coin expo several times but have never actually bought from him. Still, I would recommend him based on his outstanding knowledge, his professional demeanor, and his beautiful coins.

Funny - After putting it off for ages I managed to pick up an Augustus recently - at a local general household auction too.
