Could possibly be a reprocessed Steel Cent. Pictures aren't good enough to tell for sure.

The photos do look like the coin has been reprocessed. That means that a real steel cent was cleaned and plated with zinc to make it look new. The reprocessed steel cents tend to look slightly blue instead of silver/gray.

The photo below shows a uncirculated and reprocessed steel cent 50/50.

They have been reprocessing these for a very long time. I remember being a kid in the late 60s and seeing some. Back then there was even a local bank which gave out coin sets in a special holder. All the coins inside were highly polished to make them look shiny. All had reprocessed steel cents in them.

@brett420024 Please don't clean or polish ANY coins! You can ruin any value that they may have. If you have a question about a coin that could be valuable, post a photo of it here first.

It could be a major difference in the amount you can get for the coin.
