I'm reminded of an idea I've seen somewhere for a set of coins with all the silver purities in 10% steps - so 10%, 20%, 30%, ..., 90%. (Possibly also a .999 silver coin to represent 100%.)
Some of those are common; others are fairly scarce. Apparently most of the 20% silver coin types, in particular, are scarce to rare. All nine appear to be attested, though.

Nice comparison. This post reminded me of a question I had around the 10% 1957-67 Mexican Pesos. Are they silver plated, or clad (like our 40% Kennedy halves)? Or is the alloy consistent throughout the planchet? Such a low purity but they have a good silver color if not toned ugly brown. I bought a few the other day for under melt at my LCS. Neat coins, and a nice attractive design.

Poland 5 and 10 groszy coins of 1815-34 were specified at 3 2/18 out of 16, or 19.2%. For anyone who is compiling a collection like this, they are very affordable in average circulated condition (if you can't find 20%):

Quote: Here's a 25% I can't think of any 20%ers. There's a bunch of other options, but by far the easiest one to acquire appears to be the Napoleon I 10 centimes (Numista does not mention the fineness, but it's 20%).

@hcmusicguy, the Mexican Pesos are a normal blended alloy - the ugly tone comes from what the the silver was alloyed with - I have a blast white example with a vein of copper that runs diagonally through the obverse which has toned.
