I primarily collect uncertified Obsolete notes, and the founding Texas notes are a special area of "interest" for me and I "treasure" them.
This one just came back from PMG, so I thought I'd let you guys have a shot at it.

Paper is so hard to grade on a screen. Gonna go 63 - cut cancelled.

I agree with Wheat. Grading flat photos of paper money is a crap shoot.

Particularly in higher grades without creases and soiling as guidelines.

So if you crease it and soil it for us, we can give you a more accurate assessment.

Sorry, it's already been graded, or I'd be happy to put in the toilet for you guys
Yeah I realize it's a bit of a crapshoot, so I tried to make the photos as crystal-clear as possible.
It's always a learning experience.

Well....I can't see the note getting both stamped and cut-cancelled without some kind of unavoidable handling. So I'll guess AU 55 NET.

Yes, very nice. And it's in a newer PMG holder.

Seriously? That grade is not correct. Its cut cancelled and stamped. There is no notice of that. Oh well another example of a TPG making grades up.
