Looks more like a vise job to me. Another coin was squeezed or pounded into it leaving an impression of the other coin. The backwards incuse lettering indicate this.
Yes that makes sense thank you, I'm having a hard time finding info on this error. Should I take it to a shop to have it looked at or is there a website I could use?
A couple of red flags to consider: other than the bent out of shape and flattened Rim, you'd see an incuse and backward impressions of the lettering on reverse.It's now considered a damaged coin.
