The top of Lincoln's head and 1992 and also looks like in God We Trust. I'm new to all of this so I'm just trying to learn what I am identifying. Thanks for any feedback

Note the date is showing the same thing as well as the bottom of the bust. As mentioned, it is DDD. When you see this movement towards the rim on all devices it is die wear. On a doubled die, they have directions also. Not an outward expansion though. What it he difference between Machine Doubling and DDD? DDD affects the fields on the devices in the direction of the closest rim. MD alters the outside edges of devices.
DDD= affects the fields towards the closest rim.
MD= affects the outside edges of devices and designs. This can be in one direction or more. Can be on the outside edges or inside edges of devices. Depending on the direction/s of the push.

The reverse may also be showing the same thing. If it does, save this coin for education to the new collectors you find in your area. That way later on, you won't kick yourself for not saving it.

I think I have the same coin somewhere. I'll try to pull it out and snap a photo of it.
