I'm sure the HSN folks will and The New York Mint, Littleton, etc etc. etc
But I haven't heard that the U.S. Mint will be doing that.

A special set containing a proof silver dollar and proof versions of four 2009 Lincoln one-cent coins-each bearing a design representative of a different aspect of Lincoln's life-is expected to be available in the spring. The special set will be limited to 50,000 units.

Didn't know this....got this from another thread......very interesting.....and a very low mintage too ! (for the "special" set)

Click around on the US Mint site and you will find a link to a high resolution picture of the coin:

Wow! Now that is what a coin should look like. It doesn't look like a computer generated image. I'm pretty excited thinking about this one.

February 12th... count the days...

I'm getting the "special set" with only 50,000 sets made .......I hope !...(only that many people WORLD WIDE will be able to have this special set !.......yup !.....might sell out pretty quick !)
And at least one or two of the Lincoln Silver Dollars........

These coins will be in the American Legacy Set too......don't forget.

Ordered my two Proofs today......

Keep this in mind for those who choose to wait....

Quote:
The introductory price of $37.95 will be in effect from 12:00 noon (ET), on February 12, 2009, through 5:00 pm (ET), on March 16, 2009, after which the regular price of $41.95 will be in effect.

Yeah, it's only $4.00 more....but in todays recession and "near catastrophy" "Great Depression" times around the corner.......$4.00 is $4.00 right ?.....
Of course if all that happens......then I guess we have no business buying coins at all then right.....?......should just be "saving" !
Oh well.......an addiction is an addiction and one must serve this beast properly !.....

Got an order in for the Commemoratives and it's saying backorder. Are all of them on BO?

I can't wait to see these coins and to get the pennies as well.
