Caietan, you have some very impressive notes. These are not easy to come by.

Quote: Here is my last exemple of the Chinese Bank of Communications with even two trains. On front a tram and on the back an impressive port scene with a locomotive, ships and even with a horse drawn carriage. Fantastic!

Really impressive set of banknotes you have, @Caietan. Those Bank of Communications notes are true beauties! Quote: Where is the locomotive? That was the first thing I saw! I usually try to identify locomotives when I see them (on banknotes or elsewhere), but I can't nail this one down. It could of course be a generic locomotive without a specific Argentinian prototype - on the other hand, South American engines are not well known to me. (The same goes for the Chinese notes, not sure whether ABNC really tried to depict actual Chinese locomotives, they might as well be typical American locomotives of the time.)

Thank you all! Quote: These are not easy to come by. @erafjel: It depends. The two earlier posted ones are a bit difficult. This last one (the red one) is quite common (and cheap). But only the ones from Shanghai. I have paid 10 Euro for it, about US$ 12. Here is a very tiny communist China 2 Jiao banknote from about 1962 with a little choo-choo train.

1967 Austrian 20-schilling note. The reverse shows a view of the Semmering mountain pass, with a railway viaduct in the distance. The Semmering Railway was built between 1848 and 1854 and is considered the world's first standard-gauge mountain railway. It is still in use as one of Austrian Federal Railways' main lines, and was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1998:
