A Small German Pfennig Coin, Not Sure Of Date Range

Perhaps this is a German states piece, or it could be a type of spielmark (play-money)? It reads Wer Wagt Gewinnt (Who Dares Wins) around a wreath and a cross, and the other side reads Rechen Pfennig around an anchor (so possibly a coastal issue?). A bonus is this has a small rim clip. A "rechenpfennig" seems to translate to "counting penny" or a "counter". So yes, a game counter or token. Report this Post to the Staff

Good links spruett001; makes me wonder if mine could be an earlier version of those other 2 from numista (which I use somewhat often for other items).
