Hi guys,

I have this 1997 P Roosevelt dime and noticed that there is a piece missing on the Obverse Rim. Can someone explain what this is please?

It could be part of a peeled clad area? Is it red under that area?
It could be damage to the coin. Is the rim on the reverse pushed out on this area?
Probably not much a any premium for this though. If damaged it is just a face value coin.
