gettingbrowned Valued Member United States 259 Posts	Posted 02/03/2009 10:58 am It doesn't appear to be Machine Doubling, or a doubled die, to me. having said that, I have no idea what could cause this... :D edit: upon closer inspection, I do see signs of MD on the reverse lettering. the area that is confusing me is the closeup on united. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 02/03/2009 11:51 am I cannot answer 100% as to what it is, but I can definitely rule out three things: it's NOT a doubled die, it's NOT die wear, and it's NOT Machine Doubling. What could it be? A case of die polishing gone wrong. Die damage of some other fashion. Report this Post to the Staff
