I have this labeled as wexlers WDDR-008
Is this correct?

I would say you are correct. WDDR-001 is very similar but yours looks more like WDDR-008. If you had not called out the listing, I probably would have thought this was MD. Good job!

Looks like Machine Doubling to me. Note the so called doubling on the top step/columns areas? This is flat on these areas, not hub doubled.

I'll work on some side by sides to see if the devices are enlarged ( DDR) or if they are showing contour reduction (MD)

I believe its the DDR, it matches the wexlers site exactly including the die markers. The die markers are a little worn but they are there

Here is the side by side. Looks like Machine Doubling altered the devices that were normal. But note on some areas the with the of the devices are different.
