My local pawn shop sells at $16 to a buck face, thinking about picking some up.

$4.00 for a silver Quarter , I'd feel much better paying $3.35 to $3.50 .

TBop I haven't seen $14.00 × face since 2018 I was always going to buy a big bag but I never did LOL I've jumped at $17.00 on a couple hundred face in Janurary and feel lucky on that one. Today at my LCS walkers were 20 x face and dimes $19.00 I got finicky and passed. Probably going to get blown off this thread by revealing I bought $50 face in 40% halfs at $6.10 x face I can't help myself LOL.

I still brag about when I loaded up on 90% Kennedys in March of 2020 when silver dipped to $11.90. It was only there very briefly but I still nabbed a bunch at 12 x face.

Just something to think about. Your LCS can have real problems if there are sudden drops and the market sell price is lower than the price they bought it for. They have to be very careful with their bullion inventory.

Silver is down again: currently at $18.27 USD and falling - almost time to start buying up bullion as soon as it nears the bottom (but where is that at?)

Just silver bullion. I go once a week to the coin shop and check out if he got anything new, sometimes I get something (like the 1876 Indian head a few weeks ago) , we he doesn't have anything I'm working on I go and BS for a little and either get an ASE or a few silver dimes. I was going to get an ASE but the $12 over spot premium is pretty high, even the owner said hold off for a few weeks. So I got some dimes. My goal is $50 face in dimes, I'm at $44.50.

hfjacinto I used to do that with 1964 Kennedy halves whenever I had some spare money. Dig around in a tubful and find a few clean UNC's. For a while I bought worn walkers, but started thinking about the money I lost by buying shortweight coins.
